What to expect

  • A short health assessment before your first infusion
  • An infusion of 45–90 minutes while you rest
  • No downtime; you can return to your day straight afterwards
  • Which infusions are offered, and what each contains, is explained at your assessment

Is it right for me?

An infusion is given only when a doctor finds it suitable for you. It does not replace treatment for an illness, a balanced diet, or medicines you have been prescribed. It is not suitable for some people with heart, kidney or liver conditions or certain allergies, and in pregnancy only on medical advice.

Risks

Bruising or soreness where the needle goes in and feeling light-headed. Rarely, inflammation of the vein, infection or an allergic reaction.

Your first consultation

  1. Dr. Neeraj Upadhyay asks about your concern, your health, your medicines and any previous treatment.
  2. He examines you and explains the options, including when surgery is not the best choice.
  3. You hear what the procedure involves, the recovery, the risks and the cost, before you decide anything.
  4. Photographs may be taken to plan your treatment, only with your consent.

Bring a list of your medicines and any reports or scans. Consultations are in the clinic, or by video if you live outside Lucknow.

What affects the cost

Fees are explained at your consultation, once your plan is agreed.
