Treatments

  • Anti-wrinkle injections for frown lines, forehead lines and crow's feet
  • Dermal fillers to restore volume in the cheeks, lips and under-eye area

After treatment

Most people return to normal activity the same day. After fillers, sleep on your back for the first few nights and avoid strenuous exercise for 48 hours. Results from injectables are temporary and are maintained with repeat treatments.

Is it right for me?

Injectables suit adults who want a softer, refreshed look without surgery. They are not given during pregnancy or breastfeeding, over an active skin infection, or to people with certain nerve and muscle conditions. Dr. Neeraj will tell you when surgery would give a better result.

Risks

Redness, swelling, tenderness and bruising where the injections were given, for a few days. Less often, a temporary droop of the eyelid or brow after anti-wrinkle injections, or small lumps after filler. Rarely, filler can block a blood vessel, which needs urgent treatment; this is one reason injectables should be given by a trained doctor.

  3. You hear what the procedure involves, the recovery, the risks and the cost, before you decide anything.
  4. Photographs may be taken to plan your treatment, only with your consent.

Questions about facial aesthetics

How long do fillers and anti-wrinkle injections last?

They are temporary; how long they last depends on the product and the area treated. Your doctor will advise you at consultation.

Does it hurt?

Most people feel only a brief sting. A numbing cream can be used, and many fillers contain a local anaesthetic.

When will I see the result?

Fillers show straight away, once early swelling settles. Anti-wrinkle injections take effect over a few days to two weeks.
